PLEASANT HILL -- A Verizon Wireless store was robbed by an armed man Tuesday night, according to police.

Around 6:31 p.m., officers responded to the store at 622 Contra Costa Blvd., according to police.

A suspect described as a 30-year-old black man wearing dark clothing came into the store, brandishing a firearm at store employees.

The man took electronics and an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the store, police said.

He was last seen headed westbound from the store. Anyone with information about the crime can call the department's Investigations Division at 925-288-4630.
