Thursday, July 3 theft -- At 8:22 a.m., a caller reported that a vehicle on Cumberland Drive was burglarized and $20 stolen. burglary business -- At 10:29 a.m., a business in the 300 block of Gregory Lane reported a burglary to a storage shed during the night and a gas blower stolen. fraud -- On Jennie Drive, it was reported at 11:17 a.m. that checking accounts had been opened in the caller's name. dog -- A caller reported at 4:10 p.m. that a dog in a car in the 60 block of Gregory Lane was in distress, lying down and foaming at the mouth.
Friday, July 4 theft -- In the 1900 block of Contra Costa Boulevard, a business reported at 1:47 p.m. that merchandise was stolen.
Saturday, July 5 burglary auto -- At 1:26 p.m., a caller reported that a vehicle in the 100 block of Cleaveland Road was burglarized, and backpacking and camping equipment was stolen. grand theft -- A business in the 3200 block of Monument Boulevard reported at 1:50 p.m. that thousands of dollars of merchandise was stolen in a grab- and-run. theft -- A wallet was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Contra Costa Boulevard at 3:35 p.m. burglary residence -- At 8:54 p.m., a caller from the 10 block of Old Rodgers Ranch Court reported a bicycle was stolen from an open garage during the night. fraud -- A caller from the 300 block of Oakvue Road reported fraudulent activity on a bank account at 8:57 p.m.
Sunday, July 6 DUI -- An individual was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at 2:16 a.m. at Contra Costa Boulevard and West Hookston Road. theft -- At 6:11 a.m. in the 600 block of Tempe Court, a caller reported seeing a man trying to steal the caller's bicycle. vandalism -- A caller reported at 2:15 p.m. that juveniles were throwing rocks onto Interstate 680 from an overcrossing at Oak Park Boulevard and Buskirk Avenue. One vehicle was damaged. theft -- A business in the 100 block of Crescent Plaza reported at 2:35 p.m. that merchandise was stolen. suspended license -- Two people were cited on suspicion of driving with a suspended license at 11:06 p.m. at Sunvalley and Contra Costa boulevards; and at 11:49 p.m. in the 3100 block of Oak Road.
Monday, July 7 theft -- At 12:25 a.m., a business in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard reported a dine-and-dash. burglary auto -- A vehicle was reported burglarized in a parking lot in the 100 block of Gregory Lane at 1:56 p.m. dog -- A caller reported a dog in distress in a locked car in the 1600 block of St. Lawrence Way at 2:35 p.m. identity theft -- At 4:29 p.m., a caller from the 2000 block of Ahneita Drive reported being the victim of identify theft.
Tuesday, July 8 burglary business -- A business in the 2300 block of Monument Boulevard reported at 6:18 a.m. that a window was smashed and a safe removed. theft -- Theft from a locked vehicle was reported at 7:43 a.m. in the 100 block of Diablo Court. burglary business -- Tools were reported stolen from storage containers at Hookston Road and Elmira Drive at 8:07 a.m. burglary auto -- At 5:46 p.m. in the 30 block of Mozden Lane, a caller reported that a vehicle window was smashed and golf clubs stolen.
Wednesday, July 9 theft -- A pool-cleaning robot was reported stolen at 3:12 p.m. from the first block of Santa Barbara Road. auto theft -- At 3:41 p.m., a vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of Golf Club Road during the night. robbery -- A business in the 500 block of Contra Costa Boulevard reported at 7:04 p.m. the attempted theft of merchandise by four men, one claiming to have a gun, though the caller said no gun was seen.
