Taking a turn for the better

Jeff Tanner and his wife Demi Tanner, above, turn wooden pens on a lathe at the Pink Turn-A-Thon at the Pink Turn-A-Thon at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware in Pleasant Hill on Saturday. The pens will be donated to the local chapter of the Susan B. Komen Foundation to raise funds and awareness of breast cancer. At left, Demi Tanner puts a colored dye on the pen she turned.
