FRIDAY, APRIL 26

  • ROBBERY -- At 6:50 a.m., a woman heard footsteps behind her in the 1700 block of Alcatraz Avenue. She turned to see a man who simulated a weapon in his pocket and demanded her personal belongings. She told him she didn't have any. He was then spooked by a passing vehicle and ran off.

  • ASSAULT -- At 11:25 p.m., a woman was arrested for suspected assault with a deadly weapon and a probation violation after she reportedly attacked a woman, 63, with a knife following a verbal altercation in the 1200 block of Ashby Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of nonthreatening injuries.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 2000 block of Del Norte Street; the 2000 block of Emerson Street; the 1600 block of Ninth Street; the 1200 block of Queens Road; the 1600 block of Russell Street; and the 700 block of Tamalpais Road.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 1100 block of Second Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 3300 block of California Street; the 1100 block of Francisco Street; at Parker Street and Piedmont Avenue; and the 2600 block of Regent Street.

    SATURDAY, APRIL 27

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 2400 block of Fulton Street and the 200 block of Tunnel Road.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- A home was burglarized in the 1500 block of Tyler Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- A vehicle was stolen in the 1700 block of Parker Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations in the 2100 block of Allston Way, the 800 block of Bancroft Way and the 2000 and 2300 blocks of Shattuck Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Seawall Drive.

    MONDAY, APRIL 29

  • ROBBERY -- At 12:05 p.m., a man shoved a woman from behind, grabbed her cell phone and ran to a waiting vehicle near Milvia Street and University Avenue. There were no reported injuries.

  • ROBBERY -- At 12:40 p.m., a man on a bicycle grabbed the cell phone from a woman at the intersection of Haste Street and Telegraph Avenue, riding away with it after a brief struggle.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 700 block of Spruce Street and the 1500 block of Stuart Street.

  • COMMERCIAL CRIME -- A business was burglarized in the 2200 block of Ninth Street.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at Bowditch and Haste streets; the 3100 block of College Avenue; the 1300 block of Fifth Street; and the 2900 block of Piedmont Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2200 block of Derby Street, the 2600 block of Milvia Street and at Prince and Tremont streets.

    TUESDAY, APRIL 30

  • ROBBERY -- At 11:07 p.m., a man approached another man in the 2300 block of Dwight Way and asked for his wallet. The victim told him that he'd call the police. The suspect then grabbed the victim's wrist and stole his jacket. Police arrested him nearby.

  • THEFT FROM RESIDENCE -- Homes were burglarized in the 1100 block of Hopkins Street and the 1800 block of 63rd Street.

  • STOLEN AUTO -- Vehicles were stolen in the 2700 block of Ashby Avenue and the 1100 and 2300 blocks of San Pablo Avenue.

  • GRAND THEFT -- Items worth more than $950 were stolen from locations at Allston Way and Shattuck Avenue and the 2400 block of Durant Avenue.

  • THEFT -- Items worth less than $950 were stolen from locations at Durant and Shattuck avenues; two in the 1100 block of Dwight Way; the 900 block of Gilman Street; the 2000 block of Oregon Street; and the 900 and 1800 blocks of University Avenue.

  • THEFT FROM AUTO -- Items were stolen from vehicles in the 2000 block of Bancroft Way and the 1200 block of Euclid Avenue.
