RAIDERS REPORT CARD

Passing offense: JaMarcus Russell had back-to-back passes intercepted in the first quarter, which led to 10 Broncos points. He completed more than half his passes but for scant yards and effectiveness. Grade: F

Running offense: Darren McFadden fumbled three times — the Raiders recovered the first two, one at the end of a reception — and managed only 45 yards on 12 carries. Michael Bush and Justin Fargas fared worse, without any fumbles. Grade: D

Passing defense: Kyle Orton completed passes when he needed to, including one for Denver's first touchdown. The Raiders failed to generate much pressure on Orton. Michael Huff broke up a pass in the end zone for one of the few Raiders highlights. Grade: D+

Running defense: Correll Buckhalter and Knowshon Moreno combined for 198 of Denver's 215 rushing yards on only 35 carries (5.7-yard average). They ripped off huge chunks of yardage time and again. Grade: F

Special Teams: Sebastian Janikowski accounted for Oakland's only points with a 48-yard field goal. Kick and punt coverage was decent. Jonathan Holland fared OK in his first game as the kick returner. Grade: C

Coaching: The Broncos had no problem solving Raiders defensive coordinator John Marshall's game plan. Raiders coach/play-caller Tom Cable showed the Broncos nothing that posed any problems. Grade: D-
