Passing offense — JaMarcus Russell's second pass was intercepted and led to a Chargers touchdown. He also was sacked five times and amassed only 109 yards. Grade: D+

Running offense — Justin Fargas and Michael Bush combined for 86 yards and helped limit the time the Chargers offense had the ball. Grade: C+

Passing defense — Chris Johnson set up Oakland's first scoring drive with an interception and 20-yard return. Philip Rivers completed 64 percent of his passes for 249 yards and a touchdown. Grade: B-

Running defense — LaDainian Tomlinson scored two touchdowns, but the Chargers found the going rather difficult against Oakland's 30th-ranked run defense. Grade: B-

Special teams — Sebastian Janikowski converted all three of his field goal attempts, Jonathan Holland returned a kick 60 yards and Gary Russell recovered a fumbled punt. Grade: A-

Coaching — Tom Cable did a nice job getting his players to rebound from a 38-0 loss a week earlier. Grade: C+
