Early arrivals can beat crowds, watch Ice Cube
OAKLAND -- The Raiders are providing incentives to get fans to enter O.co Coliseum early Monday night as a way to avoid a log-jam a security lines.
The NFL has required airport-style metal detection at all stadiums this season, making the process of getting into the stadium more deliberate.
To help alleviate lines at Monday night's sold-out opener, the Raiders have requested fans enter the stadium an hour before the 7:15 p.m. kickoff. There will be a pregame performance by Ice Cube, who wrote a rap anthem for the franchise, and an opportunity for fans to win field passes, locker room tours and autographed memorabilia.
The evening's first Monday night game between Cincinnati and Baltimore will be shown on the video screen
Raiderville, the club-sponsored tailgate party for adults and children, will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Lot B in the south parking lot.
