Here is a quick recap of the Raiders' comings and goings as a new league year began Tuesday:
LT Rodger Saffold: A versatile lineman who has played both tackles spots and right guard, Saffold is the likely new left tackle. He will reportedly receive $21 million guaranteed on a five-year contract worth $42.5 million.
RT Austin Howard: Howard, who started all 32 games for the Jets the past two seasons, reportedly agreed to a five-year, $30 million contract. Howard, who will be reunited with Raiders offensive line coach Tony Sparano, his former Jets line coach two years ago, only allowed two sacks and committed just two penalties in 2013.
LT Jared Veldheer: Once considered the Raiders left tackle of the future, Veldheer instead goes to Arizona to protect Carson Palmer. His contract of five years and $35 million reportedly carries a $17 million guarantee.
DE Lamarr Houston: The Raiders top defensive lineman over the past two years, Houston signed a five-year, $35 million contract with a $12.9 million guarantee to replace Julius Peppers for the Chicago Bears.
RB Rashad Jennings: One of the most pleasant surprises of 2013, Jennings led the Raiders with 733 yards rushing in eight starts and averaged 4.5 yards per carry. He is not officially signed, but said on Twitter he was flying to New York to do so.
RB Darren McFadden: Following two seasons where he averaged 3.3 yards per carry, McFadden returns on a one-year deal at a bargain rate hoping to rekindle the skill he showed in 2010 and 2011, when he was one of the NFL's most explosive backs.
