RICHMOND -- A shooting Saturday night at a fast-food restaurant was a family dispute that turned deadly, police said.
The shooting was reported about 8:35 p.m. in the parking lot of a Taco Bell at the intersection of 23rd Street and Barrett Avenue, according to Richmond police Detective Nicole Abetkov.
One person was shot and killed; no one else was injured. Abetkov declined to identify the victim, but said he was an adult male and a Richmond resident.
Investigators found and arrested the adult male suspect, also a Richmond resident, later Saturday evening, Abetkov said. She declined to identify the suspect or specify how he was related to the victim.
The killing is Richmond's 13th homicide of 2012.
