RICHMOND -- A man who was shot and killed in a family dispute Saturday night was identified Tuesday as Javier Campos, 38, of Richmond.

Campos was shot around 8:30 p.m. Saturday during the dispute, in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant at the intersection of 23rd Street and Barrett Avenue. Police arrested a suspect shortly after the shooting, but would not identify the suspect or give details about the specific nature of the dispute.

The case will likely be handed over to the Contra Costa District Attorney's Office this week, according to a police spokeswoman.

The killing is Richmond's 13th homicide of 2012.
