CONCORD -- The West Contra Costa school district invites community members to complete a short survey to provide input into a five-year strategic plan.
The survey, which should take about 10 minutes to complete, is available in English and Spanish on the district's website at www.wccusd.net. Click on "Strategic Planning Process." Hard copies are available by calling 510-231-1000.
The survey will supplement the district's strategic planning community-engagement effort, which has included approximately 900 people in six communitywide town hall meetings, two employee town hall meetings and nearly two dozen focus group meetings.
A draft strategic plan is expected to be completed by next fall, focused on student achievement, curriculum, school-based health centers and community partnerships, according to a news release.
