SAN PABLO -- An early morning fire at an industrial park burned for nearly four hours before crews were able to contain the blaze, according to a fire official.

No one was injured.

Crews with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and the Richmond Fire Department responded to reports around 11:38 p.m. at the Giant Trade Center, located at 209 Center Court in San Pablo, according to Battalion Chief Bryan Craig.

Crews were able to see a plume of smoke as they headed to the center and when they arrived, the fire was already steadily burning between two buildings, located at 205 B and 225 Center Court, and was threatening to spread to other structures.

In addition to the blaze, power lines that had been damaged by flames threatened firefighters' progress on containing the fire, Craig added.

The fire was contained around 3:36 a.m., and the total damage cost to the burned structures is roughly $150,000. A cause for the blaze has not been determined.
