RICHMOND -- Police are offering a $15,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and wounded a 19-year-old woman Saturday night.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter report in the 3800 block of Waller Avenue at 8:41 p.m. and found a home riddled with bullet holes.

Richmond police spokeswoman Nicole Abetkov said police have no information on any potential suspects and no information on a motive for the shooting.

"The family, and the teen, are completely innocent in all this," Abetkov said.

The woman, whose family identified her in a television news report as Dominique Romero, is in stable condition after being shot in the lower back, Abetkov said. Just how much damage her spine may have suffered remains unknown, Abetkov added.

Anyone with information on the shooting can contact Richmond police Detective Jason Wentz at 510-621-1259 or they can call the anonymous tip line at 510-232-TIPS.
