RICHMOND -- The West Contra Costa school board on Wednesday expects to revise district hiring policies, approve a new technology plan and discuss a spending plan for the next three years.
New hiring policies would require the district to check references for all new hires and returning employees.
Trustees also expect to offer classroom space to two charter schools, approve the district's 2013-14 interim budget report and accept a 2012-13 audit of the district's bond program.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Lovonya DeJean Middle School, 3400 MacDonald Ave. More information about the meeting is available by calling 510-231-1101 or by visiting www.wccusd.net. Click on Board of Education agenda.
