RICHMOND -- The West Contra Costa school board on Wednesday expects to vote on a proposed JROTC program at DeAnza High and to hold public hearings on its accountability plan and budget.
The JROTC program would cost $100,000 a year for the next two years. The district is required by the state to seek input regarding its accountability plan and budget.
The board also expects to discuss a plan to refinance construction bonds issued in 2002 and 2005 using Convertible Capital Appreciation Bonds and Current Interest Bonds.
