Newly appointed President James Donahue smiles before addressing the audience during his inauguration ceremony at Saint Mary's College in Moraga on Oct. 11. Donahue is now the 29th president of the college, and is the first school president in the college's 150-year history who isn't a member of the De La Salle Christian Brothers, the Catholic Church's oldest order devoted exclusively to teaching. The afternoon inauguration ceremony, below, was preceded by an inaugural Mass and a community lunch featuring music by the Saint Mary's Jazz Band.
