STOCKTON -- Police are investigating the city's 62nd homicide of the year after a man was found with a gunshot wound to the head in a home on Friday.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Jorge Eguiluz.
Eguiluz was found in a home on the 2400 block of Waterloo Road late Friday after a person mysteriously entered a restaurant on Charter Way around 10 p.m., dressed all in black and a hooded sweatshirt, and handed an employee a note requesting someone call police and have them search the residence.
Police have not identified the person with the note, who they say promptly left the restaurant and headed in an unknown direction.
The investigation into Eguiluz's death is ongoing.
