DUBLIN -- The Dublin public schools system and Special Olympics will join forces Nov. 14 to stage a soccer competition for children with special needs.

The event will be held 9 a.m. Nov. 14. at the Dublin High School stadium, 8151 Village Parkway.

The public is encouraged to attend. The soccer competition is open to special needs students 3 to 22 years old who are enrolled in the Dublin Unified School District.

Organizers of the event are seeking contributions and volunteer help. For information, visit www.sonc.org.
