DANVILLE -- Hartz Avenue was full of little ghosties, spooky and pretty princesses, witches, Spidermen and lady bugs on Saturday.

The annual children's Halloween costume parade on Hartz Avenue drew plenty of trick-or-treaters eager to start the candy bagging.

The children had fun, but herds of parents and other grownups may have had the most fun, just checking out the creativity and spookiness of the children's costumes. -- Kelly Gust, Staff
