SAN RAMON VALLEY -- County Supervisor Candace Andersen is looking for District 2 residents to serve on a variety of citizen advisory boards.
The volunteer boards usually meet once a month and advise the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors.
Volunteers from District 2 are needed to serve the Alcohol & Other Drugs Advisory Board (two seats), Economic Opportunity Council (one seat), Emergency Medical Care Committee (one alternate), Mental Health Commission (two seats), Alamo Municipal Advisory Council (one Alamo resident), the Iron Horse Trail Corridor Management Program Advisory Committee (one Alamo resident), Service Area P-5 Citizens Advisory Committee (one alternate, a Roundhill resident), and the Service Area P-2B Citizens Advisory Committee (two alternates, Alamo residents)
District Two includes: Alamo, Canyon, Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Parkmead, Rossmoor, San Ramon, Saranap, and Walnut Creek west of Main Street.
