SAN JOSE -- Sharks forward Marty Havlat (upper body) and defenseman Jason Demers (sprained left ankle) took part in the team's optional skate Friday, but coach Todd McLellan was not able to offer any specifics on when either player might return. Havlat has not played since the first game of the opening round and Demers has been out since April 18.
Havlat said Friday he's feeling better, and with Raffi Torres and Adam Burish already unavailable, the Sharks could use an experienced forward.
"When I come back I want to be able to help the team and not the other way around. That's very important for me," Havlat said. "We're down 2-0, now we've got to win tomorrow. It's another big game."
