SAN JOSE -- The Sharks are moving their prospects game from their practice rink to the SAP Center.
The game, which caps a week of a development camp that is closed to the public, will be July 9 at 7 p.m., with proceeds from the $5 admission ticket going to the Sharks Foundation. Former Sharks Mike Ricci and Bryan Marchment will serve as opposing coaches.
Complete rosters for the game, which consists of two 25-minute halves, have not been announced. But among those expected to play are forwards Matt Nieto and Tomas Hertl, who played a combined 103 games in San Jose last season, and defenseman Mirco Mueller, the Sharks' 2013 first-round pick who will compete for an NHL roster spot in training camp.
Other players likely to participate are forwards Daniel O'Regan, Chris Tierney, Rylan Schwartz and Sean Kuraly and defenseman Konrad Abeltshauser.
