Bruins 4, Oilers 2: Jarome Iginla scored two goals, and Eastern Conference-leading Boston beat Edmonton, the Bruins' fourth win in a row. David Perron netted both goals for the Oilers, who have lost two of three.

Coyotes 6, Islanders 3: Rob Klinkhammer had two goals and an assist, and Mikkel Boedker scored two of Phoenix's four second-period goals. New York ended a five-game trip with its 11th loss in 12 games.

Lightning 2, Red Wings 1: Martin St. Louis scored the lone goal of the shootout in the sixth round. Detroit has lost all six of its shootouts this season.

Blues 6, Maple Leafs 3: David Backes scored twice, and Jaden Schwartz added a goal and two assists to lead St. Louis over Toronto.

Avalanche 4, Jets 3: Matt Duchene and P.A. Parenteau scored in the shootout, and Colorado stopped a two-game losing skid.

Flames 2, Hurricanes 1: Chris Butler scored at 4:56 of overtime to give Calgary the win hours after struggling Calgary fired general manager Jay Feaster and assistant John Weisbrod.
