SAN JOSE -- San Jose State quarterback David Fales has accepted an invitation to play in the Senior Bowl, college football's top all-star game.

Fales is the first Spartans quarterback to ever participate in the game and the 12th player from SJSU overall. He'll be one of six quarterbacks to play in the game on Jan. 25 in Mobile, Ala.

The Senior Bowl is coached by NFL coaching staffs and provides the most exposure to NFL scouts among the several postseason all-star games. Fresno State's Derek Carr and Clemson's Tahj Boyd are among the other senior quarterbacks who have accepted invitations.
