The Raiders haven't left California since they played the New York Giants on the road Oct. 11.
Their only road game since was Nov. 1 against San Diego. Other than that, it's been four home games and the bye week. That's about to change.
The Raiders play four of their next five games on the road: at Dallas on Thursday, Pittsburgh on Dec. 6, Denver on Dec. 20 and Cleveland on Dec. 27.
The lone home game during that stretch comes Dec. 13 against the Washington Redskins. The Raiders end the regular season at home against the Baltimore Ravens.
"We've done it enough in terms of how to do it and the preparation that goes with it, playing on the road," Raiders coach Tom Cable said. "We just need to go play well."
Linebacker Jon Alston is hampered by "residual effects" from two concussions within the past six weeks and is undergoing testing to determine how to proceed, Cable said.
Former 49ers and Raiders defensive back Ronnie Lott is the founder of All Stars Helping Kids, which
Asomugha will be recognized at a luncheon in New York City on Dec. 8.
