THE STAT LINE: Greason, MVP of the Diablo Foothill Athletic League, had 11 goals and six assists combined in the No. 2-seeded Dons' three victories in the North Coast Section Division II playoffs, including three goals and two assists in a 9-8 win over No. 1 Marin Catholic in the championship game.

EVENT: Triple jump

THE STAT LINE: On the last jump of the competition, the Texas A & M-bound Prothro soared a wind-legal 50 feet, 4 inches to win the NCS Meet of Champions triple jump title and set a meet record. That mark leads the state and ranks second in the nation for wind-legal jumps.

SPORT: Lacrosse

POSITION: Attack

THE STAT LINE: The Colorado signee scored a team-high four goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Cougars past Amador Valley 9-7 in the NCS Division I championship game. In a 18-6 semifinal win over Marin Catholic, she had four goals and three assists.

Nijae Jones

SCHOOL: San Leandro

SPORT: Track and field

YEAR: Senior

EVENTS: 800 meters, 400 relay

THE STAT LINE: The Cal-bound Jones won the 800 at the NCS Meet of Champions with a time of 2 minutes, 11.21 seconds, third-best in the state for the event leading into the state meet this weekend. Jones also ran the third leg for San Leandro's victorious 400 relay team (47.28).

BOYS

JALEN DOSS, Hercules, track and field, Jr. -- Doss won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles title at the NCS Meet of Champions with a personal-record time of 37.87 seconds, more than a second faster than his previous personal best. That time is the ninth-fastest in the state this season according to PrepCalTrack.com.

RYAN MAUND, Foothill, golf, Jr. -- Maund was medalist at the NorCal tournament with a 4-under 68 at Diablo Grande Golf Club in Patterson, including an eagle on the par-4 eighth hole, followed by birdies on nine and 10.

GIRLS

COURTNEY KEZERIAN, San Ramon Valley, softball, Jr. -- The Wolves' pitcher played a key role in a 4-1 upset victory over top-seeded Amador Valley in the NCS Division I quarterfinals. Kezerian allowed just one run and four hits while striking out four in the victory.

CARLY SCHULZ, St. Mary's, track and field, Jr. -- Schulz produced a personal-best 44.45 in winning the 300 low hurdles at the NCS Meet of Champions. She also ran a leg for the Panthers' victorious 1,600 relay team (3:52.22).
