K.J. Carta-Samuels completed 7-of-11 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns to lead Bellarmine College Prep past St. Ignatius 42-28 in a West Catholic Athletic League game at San Jose City College.

One of Carta-Samuels' TD passes was a 91-yarder to sophomore Kyle MacAuley. The other was a 29-yarder to junior Anthony Guttadauro, who also scored on a 20-yard run in the third quarter.

Senior outside linebacker Austin Changras led Bellarmine defensively, intercepting a pass in the end zone to prevent a touchdown. For St. Ignatius, junior quarterback Ryan Hagfeldt threw two TD passes, one of them to senior Joe Lang, who also scored on a 67-yard punt return.

Los Gatos scored in nearly every fashion at Foothill College, starting with a 57-yard punt return by Corey Olivet before the offense took the field. It was one of the senior's three first-half touchdowns (1-yard run, 38-yard pass). Los Gatos quarterback Dru Brown completed 6 of 7 for 113 yards and three touchdowns. The others: a 2-yard play to Cody Marshall on fourth down and a 30-yarder to Logan Chapman that made it 35-0 at halftime. Wildcats running back Joey Wood finished with 101 yards on 10 carries, including a 6-yard touchdown in the second half. The scoring was capped on a safety on a tackle by Nick Stojanovich. Mountain View's lone score came on a 1-yard quarterback sneak by Ashley Avery, which came immediately after a 42-yard completion to A.J. Johnson on fourth down.
