Olito Thompson had a monster of a game for host Concord (6-2, 3-0), which won its sixth straight and set up what appears to be a showdown for the DVAL title next week against College Park. Thompson finishing with 204 yards and two touchdowns on the ground

The Red Devils (1-7, 0-3) opened the scoring with a 58-yard pass from Austin Hunt to Nick Sloss. But from that point on, it was only the Minutemen who found the end zone.

The Minutemen drove 65 yards on 10 plays with running back Uaisele Manoa plunging in from the one for Concord's first touchdown of the game. Concord kept the momentum in the second quarter when Manoa found the end zone again on a 35-yard interception return and Minutemen quarterback Wyatt Morrow connected with receiver Jacob Smith for a 4-yard TD strike. Morrow finished with 14 completions in 28 attempts for 154 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
