Tara Reid will not appear in the sequel to "Sharknado."
That's right -- Tara Reid can't even get hired to appear in the second installment of a story about man-eating sharks being whipped around by bad weather.
Sources connected to the film directed by Antioch native Anthony C. Ferrante told TMZ that producers have decided they don't want Reid back for the New York-based sequel. The film's other star, king shark-killer Ian Ziering, will be back, TMZ said.
Reid played Ziering's estranged wife in the original. No reasons were given for her dismissal.
Sources told TMZ both actors made around $50,000 for the first film.
Reid took to Twitter to deny the reports she was not asked to return for the sequel.
"There is no script for sharknado 2 until i read it then i will make a decision but everyone that is saying i got cut that is not true #liars," she wrote.
"Sharknado 2" is set for a summer 2014 release.
