Prince has truckloads of talent in a lot of different areas. But comedy has never been his forte.

So anyone's first reaction had to be that it couldn't be true when Prince tweeted the cover for his new single "Breakfast Can Wait," which featured a shot of Dave Chappelle dressed up as Prince holding a plate of pancakes.

Chappelle, of course, played Prince in a sketch from "The Dave Chappelle" show, while Charlie Murphy related what he said was a true story of a meeting between the posse of Charlie's brother Eddie and Prince's crew in an L.A. club in the mid-80s. Murphy related a hilarious story of going back to Prince's mansion, where they listened to music and played late-night basketball, followed by Prince serving everyone pancakes.

Apparently, Prince thought it was as funny as the rest of us.
