This may be difficult to believe, but Dina Lohan was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of drunken driving in Long Island, N.Y.

According to TMZ, police say Lohan's blood alcohol was more than twice the legal limit when she was arrested around 11 p.m. by New York State Police on the Northern State Parkway. She was allegedly going 77 miles per hour in a 55 zone while in her white BMW.

The website reported that the 50-year-old Lohan's blood-alcohol level registered at .20 -- more than twice the legal limit of .08.

Officials told the website "Lohan made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest," but after medical personnel responded to the scene and determined she was fine, Lohan "recanted her claim."

Maybe her feelings were hurt if police didn't recognize how important she is, or something.

Lohan was reportedly booked on two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of speeding. She was later released to a sober third party who was not her daughter Lindsay, according to TMZ.
