There will be an "Entourage" movie.

Yay ...?

Fans have been through the ringer in recent years over the prospects of a studio turning the hit HBO series into a film.

The show's creator and director Doug Ellin tweeted a photo of the cast Tuesday with the words, "It's a go. love you all."

Jerry Ferrara -- who plays Turtle on the show -- also took to twitter, writing, "I am proud to announce the #Entourage movie is officially a GO! Have to thank @wbpictures and @HBO for all the support to make this happen!"

The actor continued, "On behalf of the 4 guys I wanna also thank the #entourage fans for the patience. The BOYS are BACK. 'it always works out.'"

Oh yeah? Tell that to the fans of "Cop Rock," who will probably NEVER get our ... I mean ... their movie.

Warner Bros reportedly gave the project the green light in January. By September, things weren't looking good, as some of the actors hadn't signed contracts because of money issues.
