Justin Bieber may be in trouble with Brazilian authorities.

According to the Huffington Post, the website of Brazil's biggest news outlet has published photos that apparently show Bieber spray painting graffiti on a wall. The O Globo newspaper reported that photographers took pictures of Bieber painting graffiti on a wall of the former Hotel Nacional in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday morning.

What's wrong with this guy? Why does he have to vandalize other countries?

Defacing buildings is apparently a crime in Brazil -- go figure -- punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine.

O Globo reported that police went to the mansion Bieber rented in Rio to question him, but he wasn't home.

Phone calls and emails to the police department for more details reportedly went unanswered. Calls and emails to Bieber representatives Melissa Victor, Nick Styne and Aaron Rosenberg were not returned. They may need time to get their stories straight.
