Police arrested a teenager suspected of stealing parts from the car actor Paul Walker was in when he died last weekend.

The suspect and a second man were driving behind the tow truck that was hauling away the wreckage Saturday night, said People.com, citing Los Angeles County Sheriff's officials. Witnesses reportedly said at a red light, an 18-year-old man got of a car, grabbed part of the wrecked 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, and the pair drove away.

Thursday, officers arrested 18-year-old Jameson Witty at his Los Angeles home. Witty was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail, the Sheriff's Department said in a statement. The second suspect, an unnamed 25-year-old man, was outside California and arranging to surrender, the statement said.

While serving a search warrant at a home in Canyon Country, north of Los Angeles, officers allegedly found a red T-top roof panel from the Porsche. According to People.com, sheriff's officials wouldn't say what led them to the two men.

The brainiacs probably bragged about what they did on Facebook.

Walker and friend Roger Rodas -- who was behind the wheel -- died Saturday, after crashing in a Santa Clarita business park.
