  • "Psych: The Musical" (9 p.m., USA.): The producers have been talking about it for years and now they've finally created a two-hour spectacle that is equal parts mystery and melody. Fourteen original songs highlight the episode in which Shawn and Gus (James Roday, Dule Hill) try to track down a playwright, (Anthony Rapp) who was declared criminally insane after trapping a critic in a theater and burning it down. Can they get their man? More importantly, can they hit the high notes?

  • "The Simpsons" (8 p.m., Fox.): In a Christmas-themed episode of "The Simpsons," snow comes to Springfield, but only because of a radiation leak at the nuclear plant. D'oh!
