WATCH THIS:

  • "Witches of East End" (9 p.m., Lifetime): Can this supernatural drama continue to cast a spell over viewers? Season 2 opens with the Beauchamp women fearing that a mystical presence entered their world when the portal of Asgard opened. We hate it when that happens.

  • "Steve Austin's Broken Skull Challenge" (9 p.m., CMT): "Survivor" apparently is for wimps. Brace yourself for this new reality series that has the wrestling icon pitting elite athletes against everyday men and women in brutal tests of strength, stamina and wit, while we watch from the safety of our sofas.

  • "Falling Skies" (10:01 p.m., TNT): The anxiety continues as the 2nd Mass orchestrates a complex plan to escape from the Espheni Ghetto. OK, but what about those laser fences?
