  • 13 -- Years since a Big Ten team won the national championship (Michigan State).

  • 20 -- Losses by Liberty, only the second team in history to make the field with 20+ losses. The other: Coppin State (and coach Fang Mitchell) in 2008.

  • 23 -- Combined Final Four appearances by Duke's Mike Krzyzewski, Michigan State's Tom Izzo and Louisville's Rick Pitino. All three are in the Midwest region.

  • 52 -- Winning percentage for Gonzaga coach Mark Few in March Madness.
