State Sen. Mark DeSaulnier, D-Concord, will host four town halls in the 7th Senate District in March.

The district includes most of Contra Costa County plus portions of the Tri-Valley.

Residents are invited to share their "ideas and concerns for improving state government budgeting, programs and tax systems," according to his office.

The town halls will be held from 7-9 p.m. on:

March 13 -- Dublin City Council chamber, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin

March 14 -- Concord City Council chamber, 195 Parkside Drive, Concord

March 19 -- Veterans Memorial building, 400 Hartz Ave., Danville

March 20 -- Pittsburg City Council chambers, 65 Civic Ave., Pittsburg
