Snoop Dogg has changed his name to Snoop Lion.

No, really. You don't believe that a guy who named himself Snoop Dogg wouldn't change it again to Snoop Lion?

Snoop ... Whatever, is promoting his soon-to-be released reggae album "Reincarnated." He says while in Jamaica recording in February, he underwent a transformation to Rastafarianism.

Wow. Does that mean he smokes even MORE pot now?

He's changing his name and switching his genre from rap to reggae, hoping to make music that might give him "a chance to perform for kids and grandkids."

Well, if that's what he wants, I think The Wiggles have an opening.

Snoop may have been "called by the spirit" to sing reggae, as he put it, but

he's not leaving his business dealings to the supernatural. He hired superstar producer Diplo (who has worked with M.I.A., No Doubt, Beyonce and Usher) for his new album, brought on a trio of hit songwriters, and had a documentary crew follow him around as he transformed from a Dogg to a Lion.
