Led Zeppelin, David Letterman and Dustin Hoffman will be among this year's Kennedy Center honorees.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced the recipients Wednesday. Other recipients will include blues great Buddy Guy, and ballerina Natalia Makarova.
While Led Zeppelin is being honored as a band, keyboardist/bassist John Paul Jones, guitarist Jimmy Page, and singer Robert Plant will each get their own medal.
And just so you know, Congress has passed a law banning the audience from yelling for "Stairway to Heaven."
The night before the shindig, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will host a State Department dinner for the seven individuals, who get to meet with President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama during the Dec. 4 ceremony.
That's great, but what are the Kennedy Center concession stands like? Will they get free nachos?
For the 35th year, the gala will be broadcast by CBS as a two-hour primetime special on Dec. 26.
