The streets of Southern California are safe again.
Police finally caught up with Amanda Bynes Sunday and took her car away. According to TMZ, Bynes was pulled over around 9 a.m. in Burbank. The story didn't say why they stopped her, but it's probably only a small stretch to say she was driving on two wheels in reverse of with flames shooting out her tailpipe or something like that.
Unlike the last time she was pulled over while driving with a suspended license Sept. 9, this time officers actually ran her plates and discovered she was the notorious screaming demon of the highway. They impounded her car without incident and issued her a ticket for driving on a suspended license.
Bynes' license was suspended weeks ago after she was charged in two separate hit-and-run incidents. Her year has also included a DUI arrest, running into a police car, pulling away from another police car while getting a ticket, and running up a few Hollywood sidewalks. She was seen last week driving around the San Fernando Valley, periodically stopping to smoke from what appeared to be a marijuana pipe.
TMZ reported Monday that Bynes' friends are reaching out to try and help her with what some believe is mental illness. Sources told TMZ Bynes insists she's fine, despite reports from several people who said they've seen her talking to inanimate objects and talking to herself at the gym.
On the bright side, at least she's trying to stay in
