DUBLIN -- City Council Don Biddle will serve as Dublin vice mayor for the next year.

The City Council last week selected Biddle to vice mayor. He will preside over council meetings when Mayor Tim Sbranti is absent.

At the same Dec. 4 meeting, newly elected Councilman David Haubert was sworn into office for the first time.

During the November election, Haubert won election to the council and Kevin Hart won re-election. Sbranti had no opposition on the ballot for another term as mayor.

Last week was the last council meeting for Kasie Hildenbrand, who was termed out after serving two council terms.
