Edward Furlong just got fired from another film as a result of his reported domestic violence problems.

Furlong -- John Connor in "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" -- was arrested Sunday for allegedly attacking his girlfriend, the third time he's been accused of domestic violence in only three months. Furlong has already pleaded guilty, according to TMZ, but is still in jail.

The producers behind Furlong's latest job -- a romantic comedy called "Other Plans" -- have apparently had enough, firing off a letter to Furlong's people Wednesday saying Furlong's contract was terminated.

I guess domestic abuse doesn't mix with romantic comedies.

According to TMZ, the letter states "Given Edwards current status as being in jail awaiting arraignment on two charges of criminal domestic violence ... we are no longer able to engage his services for the film as per our agreement."

Producer Joe Eckardt told TMZ the movie's already "suffered way too long waiting for (Furlong) to be clear of his legal issues ... It's time to move on now and make our film without him."

They were waiting for him? This is Edward Furlong we're talking about, right? Not Matthew McConaughey?

Sources close to the production said they were in talks with Jason Mewes -- aka Jay from "Jay and Silent Bob" -- to replace Furlong, but Mewes decided to pass on the project.

It's the second film Furlong has been fired from due to his ongoing domestic violence problems with his girlfriend. In November, Furlong was fired from a movie called "Misled" after he was arrested at LAX.
