  • Auditions -- 7 p.m. Valley Concert Chorale will hold auditions by appointment for their April and May concerts. The Chorale will perform Durufle's "Requiem" and Lauridsen's "Lux Aeterna" in April, and Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony" with the Livermore Amador Symphony in May. A no-host bar offering beer, wine and nonalcoholic beverages will be available, raffle baskets and silent auction items. All proceeds benefit Jackie Barnett's Just Like New fund. The program provides financial assistance for urgent veterinary medical needs in the Tri-Valley.
