PLEASANTON -- join Olympian Barbra Higgins at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9 at the Pleasanton Library. She will share stories from her Olympic experience, when she represented Panama in the 1984 games.

She will bring fencing equipment, talk about her sport and will share film highlights of Northern California Olympians.

Vice president and CFO of the Bay Area Hall of Fame, Higginsis is also a member of the executive board of the Northern California Olympians Alumni Association

The free program is suggested for those age 8 and older.

According to a library press release, Higgins' inspiring story will entertain adults and children alike.
