PLEASANTON -- Water main replacement work will take place from mid March to the end of June on Vineyard Avenue.
The work will be done between Adams Way and Bernal Avenue. According to a release from the city's engineering department, the work may cause some temporary water shutdowns that could last throughout the day, but are expected to last no more than two hours.
There will be 48-hour notice before any water shutdown.
The work will be done weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and is not expected to block pedestrian or vehicle access.
Throughout construction, on-street parking may be restricted. Barriers will be put up 48 hours in advance to mark off areas prohibited for on-street parking.
