PLEASANTON -- The public is invited to help celebrate roadway improvements on Stanley Boulevard during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Shadow Cliffs Recreational Area on Saturday.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes a community fair highlighting the Tri-Valley biking and hiking trail system. The ceremony takes place at 11 a.m., followed by a bike ride or walk along the new multi-modal pathway along Stanley.

Shadow Cliffs Recreation Area is located at 2500 Stanley Blvd. in Pleasanton. Those attending are encouraged to bike to the event.
