Graham Peter Brotherson, of Troop 84, received his Eagle Scout award at his Court of Honor held April 20. Church of the Valley needed additional storage, so for his Eagle project he built a 10-by-12-foot wood storage shed.
He led 30 volunteers who put in 556 hours of work to complete the project. He is the son of Paula and Roger Brotherson, of San Ramon, and a senior at California High School, San Ramon.
Daniel Alexander Tatum, of San Ramon, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which was presented to him April 20. For his Eagle project, Tatum worked with the City of San Ramon at Forest Home Farms to rehabilitate and restore 200 feet of gravel path along a creek bed.
Workers removed the old path, leveled the area, and added new path material. He led 27 workers over two days, completing the project in just more than 235 volunteer hours. He is the son of Kim and Ken Tatum, and a senior at California High.
Bhuvanesh Prembabu, of Troop 84 under the leadership of Scoutmaster Tom Azzopardi, has earned the rank of Eagle Scout. His award was presented April 20 at his Court of Honor.
Prembabu's Eagle project focused on helping underprivileged children of rural villages in Kenya and Tanzania, in partnership with Asante African Foundation, Livermore. He planned, managed and led a volunteer team of nine adults and 43 scouts to collect backpacks, school supplies and clothes. He had a target of 75 backpacks but collected 117 -- a result of 148 hours of work.
He is the son of Bhavani and Thiruvelan Prembabu, and a senior at California High.
