DUBLIN -- Organizers are planning a first-ever anti-bullying fundraiser to raise money to educate Dublin students on the dangers of bullying.

The Dublin Integrity in Action Committee and the school district are planning the event, to be held 5 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at Vito's Express, 4060 Grafton St..

A special guest at the event will be Oakland Raider Jared Veldheer, who will sign autographs and speak.

Members of the City Concil are expected and there will be musical performances and skits by students from Dublin High, Wells Middle, and Dougherty and Green elementary schools.

For each purchase by a customer with a printed voucher, Vito's will donate 20 percent of the proceeds to the anti-bullying program. Vouchers are available at www.vitosexpressdublin.com under Events.
