DUBLIN -- The public can drop off expired or unwanted prescription drugs during the city's "take-back initiative" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Dublin Civic Center parking lot, 100 Civic Plaza.
Dublin police and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration are sponsoring the free event to collect and destroy unwanted prescription drugs.
Dublin police officers will collect drug tablets, capsules, and other solid prescription medications -- no questions asked. They will not accept intravenous solutions, injectibles and syringes.
